Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open app.jendjaay.com on your phone. You can add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
Do I need an internet connection?
Even a modest connection is enough (3G or 4G). And if the network goes down, you keep selling: sales are kept on the phone and sent when the connection is back. Your data is on our secure servers: you find it on any device.
Is JëndJaay available in Wolof?
Yes. The app is in Wolof, checked by a native speaker; the very latest additions switch to Wolof as they are checked. Everyone picks their language on their phone: Wolof, French or English.
How does the online shop work?
With the Pro+ plan, you get your own sales page, in your colour, to share in your WhatsApp Status, on Instagram or TikTok, or through the QR code stuck up in your shop. Your customers see your items with photos and prices, choose their delivery area and how they pay, and order without installing anything; then they track their order. You confirm it, and the sale and stock update by themselves.
Is my data safe?
Every shop has its own database, which only you and your team can see. Everything is backed up automatically every 6 hours, encrypted.

How do I pay for my subscription?
In the app, “My subscription” menu: choose your plan and how long, pay with Wave, then send us the payment code. Your plan opens right away while we check the payment. You can also pay by Orange Money: message us on WhatsApp.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is blocked and nothing is deleted: you simply move to the Free plan (1 user, 50 items, 100 sales per month). You get everything back as soon as you renew.
What if a seller deletes a sale?
Every deletion and correction is recorded with the person’s name, and the owner is told the same day. A seller can only correct their own sales, within half an hour.
Can my customers see what they owe me?
Yes, with the Pro+ plan: you send them a link on WhatsApp, and they see on their phone what they owe and what they have already paid.
Can several people use it?
Yes. The owner creates accounts for their manager or cashier, each with suitable rights.
